“Cherry Flowers” is the fifth issue in Master Katoh’s collector’s plate series entitled “Poetic Visions of Japan” In the garden, the beautiful woman wearing a traditional kimono and hair ornament has just finished playing her koto, a 13 stringed board zither that has enjoyed popularity from the earliest periods of Japanese history.
This plate is 8 ½ inches wide, Limited to 150 days of firing. Bradex Number 42-K22-1.5, comes with an English and Japanese explanation of the scene also comes with the Certificate Of Authentication.
